The Public Voice

The Public Voice is Strengthened by Unified People Fighting for a Common Purpose
Increasing the numbers of citizens involved in a matter that occurred in local government can alter an outcome.  One person can manage certain types of incidents involving public servants if superiors within that system act on public notices of servants committing misconduct.  However, addressing multiple servants simultaneously or a department or branch of local government may necessitate a stronger voice of the public to acquire the desired response.  In such cases public teamwork can gather enough unified people to force a response to take place.

Some public servants will refuse to act on the words of one person.  A group of people making the same statement may persuade them to act according to State guidelines.  A group of citizens can also present signed petitions to local members of government that express the same message.  Some happenings require getting a judge involved to review the matter to make a formal determination on record.

To show a mayor and common council that a matter is important to multiple people within the community, meet at a common council meeting as a group that shares the same ambition to indicate it a matter that multiple people are taking seriously.
