Purpose of U.S. Government

The U.S. Government’s purpose is to establish a framework for order and justice, protect the rights and freedoms of individuals, and promote society’s general welfare.  Presented in the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution

“to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic peace, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty”

Members of the U.S. Government supply numerous public services to support individuals and community well-being.  Town, village and city governments provide services more directly than State and Federal bodies that organize from atop.

Public Services
The government provides a long list of services to U.S. residents involving infrastructure, transportation, utilities, military, education, culture, health care, safety, recreation, sanitation, environmental protection and so forth.

Officials Perform Protocols of Government  Positions Assigned by Federal & State Authorities
Standards of action are set by State and Federal authorities available for public review in legislation, constitutions, regulations and intergovernmental documents.  All position holders are required to perform actions as outlined.  Position protocols can be found online by searching for State legislation or contact offices to request information.

Justices Uphold Standards Imposed by Constitutions, Laws, Ethics and Regulations
Judges act to maintain the U.S. system of government as written to function by judicial review, upholding the law, and other services.  Judges review actions within government to maintain function and real-world event evidence with intention to support U.S. standards present in laws and constitutions by identifying what is not accepted by U.S. standards.

Public Relations with Members of Government
Respect and teamwork in the relationship between government and the people supports solving challenges; promoting public servants to benefit the public as designed.  Communication between the public, reps and hired employees of government, is essential to create a functioning relationship based on understanding both sides of the coin so that healthy productive interactions take place.

Eliminate Corruption within Government
Corruption in government is often at the public’s cost.  Defined as the abuse of entrusted public power for illegitimate, personal, or private gain. It involves officials violating their oath of public trust by prioritizing self-enrichment or favoritism over the welfare of the citizens they are supposed to serve.  Members of government are required to report and avoid corruption under Federal criminal statutes and ethics codes.
